keyboard causing beeping?

hi,

ever since i built my pc, the old ps2 keyboard i found lying around and decided to use for my pc, has been making a consistent beeping noise when i hold down 3 or more buttons, this doesn't bother me to much only in certain games really but id like to get rid of it so is there anyway to disable the beeping noise? (without disabling any system critical beeping) or will i just need to buy a newer usb keyboard?, here are the specs im guessing would be important:

keyboard -old ps2 keyboard

operating system - windows 10

Beeping noise could mean it thinks keys are being held down. A new keyboard for a budget one should run no more than 10-15 bucks. It's not uncommon to see them for 5.

so a new key board should fix the problem then ?

Good first place to start. They are cheap enough.
