So basically i just upgraded my crappy PSU to a Antec Earthwatts Gold Pro 550w. It works fine, it is even quiter than the previous "crap" one. But i got an "issue". Everytime i plug or unplug my fan(didnt try anything else) from an outlet which is next to an outlet where the pc is plugged in (the two outlets are connected probably) my keyboard led lights flash while the pc is turned off which is strange because my mouse also has led lights which dont flash . Is this a problem or a normal thing?

Solution
"Fan": do you mean an external fan used to cool a room?

Run a power extension cord from another outlet and/or room

Use the extension cord to power the computer. Not the local outlet.

If the problem continues I expect that there is some issue with respect to the new PSU or the connections inside the computer.

If the problem ends then there is likely some electrical misconnection between the two outlets or possibly via the fan.

You can also try another fan if possible. Idea being to eliminate possibilities: pc/psu, outlet(s), fan.

Yes i mean an extrenal fan to cool a room.
I now tried plugging in something else (TV) It does the same. It is only the keyboard that flashes once(its a cheap keyboard) My mouse is expensive and it doesnt flash.
Also when i switch off the psu with the button and then try plugging something it doesnt flash so i guess its the sockets or the house wiring. This was maybe happening before with the old psu i was just not noticing it. I did not add , when the pc is on and i try plugging something in it doesnt flash only when the pc is off.
