Keyboard/interface error

When I start my computer a screen appears titled American Megatrends with several lines of information ie. JSB devices, Auto Detecting, Pri & Sec Master, Sec Slave, Auto Detecting, Device #'s and at the bottom-

Keyboard/Interface error.
Press F2 to resume.

When I press F2 nothing happens

There is a problem with either the keyboard or the keyboard controller on the motherboard.

Try a keyboard that is known to be working.

If the error still persists when using a known working keyboard then there is a problem with the keyboard controller on the motherboard. Replace the motherboard or it's time for a system upgrade.

What's the make and model of the motherboard?

Are you using a keyboard with a USB connector or a PS/2 connector?
