Keyboard Issue HELP!

My apologize if this is in the wrong section, but i couldnt find any keyboard/mouse hardware support section. If its in the wrong place, please move it to the proper one.

Heres my issue with my keyboard. Its a mechanical keyboard, and some keys dont seem to register or repsond when pressed. Doesnt seem to be any specific keys, just random ones at random times. The computer does recognize the keyboard is plugged in according to the device manager. Also another issue is when i have start up the computer i have to unplug and plug the keyboard for it to respond. If anyone has experienced this before or knows of a solution or knows what i should check, any help would be greatly appreciated.

The keyboard is a cm storm quick fire rapid (cheap mechanical but it was on sale lol)

quickest way to tell if its the keyboard or computer is plug another known good keyboard in and see if the problem persists.if it doesnt i would return that keyboard.

Okay so its not the computer, i tried another keyboard.. I dont think i can return it, its over a year old.

i take it your a gamer and a $20 keyboard aint gonna cut it? oh well,time to start looking at keyboards.cheers
