Keyboard Key Delay in PC Games

I have an issue which i've come to search through the internet for a solution but have not found a suitable answer. I'm having keyboard lag in my game; PUBG; when pressing any of the keys; for example "W" my character will start walking after a while after the key was pressed and will not stop walking as i immediately let go of the key. This isn't a network issue. I've usually countered this problem my restarting my pc and playing the game completely fine after the reset. I'd like to know what the issue is here; im sure its something with my pc; perhaps the ram? I'm not sure cause it also occurs on a low quality game like Rules of Survival.

What are the specs on your system? What version of Windows do you have installed? Is it up to date(windows updates, drivers)?

I always update my drivers.

Intel Core i5-7200 @ 2.50GHz
Ram:8GB
Nvidia: 930MX

I was thinking getting more ram could be a solution; but id like someone to clarify for me

Open "Task Manager" and while the game is running, check to see the CPU/GPU/MEM/HD usage. If you are seeing the memory usage is high, then yes... upgrading the memory would help. Although if the CPU and/or GPU are spiking upto 90 - 100%, then that's a sign that one/both of those are potentially struggling.
