Guys,

The r key types, 7[ru
The enter key types, =
and the L key types, pv/g\

its driving me crazy.... heres how it happened.

Got a new 980ti the other day and was playing witcher 3. It froze and after a reboot my keyboa7[rud was like this.

My regional keyboard is set correctly, I tried ctrl + alt and shift and all that jazz, I restarted, I uninstalled drivers.....HELP! =

1. Restore the System
2. Downoad to refresh the keyboard drivers.. those installed may be corrupted.
3. scan for malware/virus. If the game is online there is a possibility of infection
4. Remap the affected keys with KeyTweak.

Start with the easier &/or quicker fix and proceede to the next if it fails or reverts back to the issue.

Solution
Argh, I did everything you guys suggested but no luck.....so annoying.

I did a virus search with Avast, restored system, new drivers, remap with keytweak (r was mapped to r I remapped to r). Turned system off and unplugged.....no good.

I've had it for probably 2 months. Was plugged into a USB3 now its in a 2.

The only things that have changed in my rig for the last few years are the keyboard and now the graphics card. Something about that freezing up caused this.....

1. By now it's beggining to look like it's the keyboard (HW issue).
2. Something else could be, is the PSU. Power issues can cause hardware to fail.
3. A new graphics card may requiring additional power which the PSU doesn't fully supply. See if a different PSU makes a difference.
4. Read the keyboard reviews at Newegg.. some buyers have experienced the same problem... that to me means the keyboard has design or manufacturing issues. Seems to me you should better replace it.
