keyboard problem with specific letter not typing

Hello,

For about 4 months now the k key on my keyboard has ceased to work (I have to literally copy and paste the letter k) I'm not sure why this is happening, but its time for me to try and fix it!

.I tried replacing the keyboard = didn't work
.I tried uninstalling any new software = didn't work
.When I am on the internet, it thinks k is the f11 key??? also the f11 key doesn't type out a k.
Lastly the only time the k works is when I play skyrim and use the console the k types as it should.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

last restore point is over 6 months ago, I dont want to go that far

we gone try something if you use a english language let say us try to use the uk settings one to see if the k letter work .

No, changing it to uk did not solve the problem...

did you try to play with ctrl or alt or the windows keys see something on this on the net about keys not showing .

some letters wont appear sometimes whan you press ctrl or alt or the windows keys settings this is describe on the net .
