After booting up my PC, my keyboard's lights will freeze and the keyboard itself will become unresponsive. After unplugging it and plugging it back in (Which sometimes doesn't work), this will occur again in minutes or even seconds.

This issue occurs on 2 different keyboards and persists after upgrading my motherboard. The USB ports I use are on the motherboard, and all relevant drivers and software are up to date.

Look in Reliability History and Event Viewer for error codes and warnings that occur just before or at the time of the keyboard freezing up.

Run the built in Windows 10 troubleshooters - they may find and fix something.

Another option is to run "sfc /scannow" via the Command prompt to find and fix a corrupted Windows file.
