My previous keyboard is remaining on if I shut down PC (leds on). So I can set in bios to start PC by pressing a key.

But now I got a new keyborad and when PC is off, keyboard is off too. So I cannot start my PC by key any more.

How to solve this problem?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Make and model keyboard(s)? Old and new?

Did you install and configure any keyboard drivers?

If the PC is actually shutdown, then it will need to have the power turned on again.

If the PC is in some sort of sleep or power saving mode then a key press or other event can initiate operation.

Check the current Power & sleep settings.

Looks like I was not clear. There are no any shutdown problems.

What I want is to start PC by pressing a keyboard's key, and not by the case's ON button. I was able to do that (via that bios option) with my previous keyboard. I can't with the new one.

I' m sure that this happens because the present keyboard turns off when I turn off PC as well. The previous keyboard does not, leds remain on.

Not all keyboards can do that. Check your keyboard manual to see if it can

Well, I was told that I need to get a PS2 keyboard. Or maybe a USB/PS2 adapter can do the job.

There might be a bios setting for USB power on standby

Is it one of these options?
