KG7 and XP

Well, I'm new to all this computer building stuff and I got a few more questions. Im getting an Athlon XP 1600+ and a KG7 mobo. I know the xp will work on the KG7 through a bios update. My question is that will the mobo recognize the processor just at a lower speed so i can actually get on the net and dl the BIOS. This is a computer im building from scratch and I was just wondering. The BIOS update is for correctly regconize AthlonXP name string (ie. AthlonXP 1600+ instead of Athlon 1400, its real speed).

By default, its FSB will be 100MHz instead of 133MHz, so it'd be shown its speed as 1050MHz (100*10.5). You shouldn't have any trouble to get it works in KG7 before updating its BIOS.

Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.
