KHX8500D2K2/2G in P35-DS4

Has anyone sucessfully run this 1066MHz memory and mobo combination using 4gb (4 sticks at 1gb each, dual channel)?

I have run 4 sticks of 800mhz ddr2 if that's helpful at all. Could buy faster RAM when i got this board but saw no point in it - with the amount of cache that core2s have nowadays - ram speed is almost irrelevant (to a point of course)

My machine is a DAW and I've been told that faster RAM will be helpful with certain Plug-Ins. Besides, I got a great deal < $200 for 4gb.

Running at 1066 would be o/clocking the RAM right?
