Hello all.

I have the same identical displays on one of my gaming rigs. They are LG 165hz 1440p displays.

The issue:
Under advanced display settings one will only go up to 120hz and the other to its native 165hz. I also made my 165hz my main display. Yet when I run benchmarks like 3d mark or superpostiton it does it on the non main display the one running at 120.

Why does one of the displays only go up to 120 and not 165? Why do the benchmarks go to the 120 display and not the main default one?

They are both hooked up via DP on a 6950xt.

If the cable does not have good enough signal integrity the connection will fall back to HBR2 speed, which is max 120 Hz at 1440p with 10 bpc color depth.

In the AMD control panel Display section, you should be able to see the DisplayPort link speed. HBR2 is 5.4 Gbit/s per lane, HBR3 is 8.1 Gbit/s per lane.
