Hey guys, one of Newegg's shell shocker deals is for Kingston HyperX 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 for $69.99

I originally had the G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 12GB (3 x 4GB) in my cart for $199.99

But now I'm questioning getting 2x of the Kingston for $60 cheaper.

Will I see a difference in performance in my new build with the Kingston RAM? It's considerably cheaper, although 6 sticks instead of 3.

The CPU and mobo:

i7-950
ASUS Sabertooth X58

Yeah I won't be doing any overclocking as it will be a workstation computer.

Also, I'm looking for the 1600 speed, that HyperX is for 1333

I'm also looking for a tri-channel solution, so preferably 3 or 6 sticks.

No worries :)

Anyone else have any input? I'd like to make a decision today in case I need to take advantage of the deal if I need to.
