Hi guys,

I have the opportunity to buy (Kingston ValueRAM 16GB 2400MHz DDR4 ECC Reg CL17 DIMM 2Rx4 Desktop Memory (KVR24R17D4/16)) for just above 40 bucks. It is with an open box. My mobo clocking speed for RAM is 2133Mhz and my alternative is buying a 2x4gb kit.

- But is this a good choice or is the cas latency too high in combination with the fact that it is a single stick? So it is 16gb, running on 2400 mhz on one single stick.
-Just in general, what do you think of this RAM for a gaming ‎ pc in the price range of ‎€700?

Thanks in advance

That CAS latency essentially cancels out any benefits you'd get from the higher clock really, not that people generally notice any. If you can, avoid getting budget RAM like this and go for higher end kits designed for gaming that can handle the stress put on it more reliably, such as corsair vengeance or G.Skill
