The MSI CPU support list for this board doesn't show the Sempron 3000+
, only 2800+ @ 166/333 MHZ, so you better email them for confirmation.
An Athlon 3000+ @ 166/333Mhz is OK, but not the 3000+ @ 200/400 Mhz
