Hi there,
i know this error has come up several times before but its giving me a big headache trying to solve it,my son is using my older pc for games and i have a clean install of windows 10 on a SSD and WD disk drive, but no matter which drive i boot to i get the annoying
KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
but i seem to only get it when i play a video on you tube or play games, there is no number on the error,a few mins after starting a video it crashes...grrrrr. when i reading or just typing it seems fine
any assistance is much appreciated...thanks

Solution
Information about the BIOS you currently have installed:
VENDOR: American Megatrends Inc.
VERSION: P1.50
DATE: 02/21/2011

Click on Support then BIOS.
https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/P67 Pro/index.asp

The latest version is 2.2. We don't recommend installing the BETA versions (2.25B).

They usually show multiple previous released which tells what all they updated in them. Unfortunately, ASRock doesn't do it that way (At least on this motherboard, I'm not sure about others). I won't answer if you should update or not since I don't know what all has changed in the BIOS versions. Maybe someone else will have a recommendation.

what are specs of pc?

Getting same error on 2 different installs makes me think its hardware

Can you follow option one on the following link - here - and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD - that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD

Open Windows File Explorer
Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump
Copy the mini-dump files out onto your Desktop
Do not use Winzip, use the built in facility in Windows
Select those files on your Desktop, right click them and choose 'Send to' - Compressed (zipped) folder
Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.)
Then post a link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .

slaps self, so used to amd cpu i was wondering where the chipset drivers were.

A 7 years old bios isn't suddenly going to be needed now.

oddly lacking in Intel drivers

All 5 errors are result of the same process, something is dividing by zero
EXCEPTION_CODE: (NTSTATUS) 0xc0000094 - {EXCEPTION} Integer division by zero.

are you using Wi-Fi?
Dec 25 2017A6100.sysNetgear A6100 Wifi Adapter driver
cause on some of your BSOD the choice of which driver to blame is limited as only 4 drivers running:

It also shows Realtek LAN drivers so the question was more along lines of, is your son using Wi-Fi or LAN?

If WIFI, it uses the RTL8811AU chipset which is made by Realtek (small world) and makes me wonder if that driver that is labelled as A600.sys is actually a renamed Realtek driver. A lot of oem's do it, rename someone elses drivers.

there is a newer driver for it in 2018 -https://www.realtek.com/en/component/zoo/category/rtl8812au-software

i tried the method on that website, the wireless adapter failed to work at all then,i tried uninstalling the netgear a6100 driver, still crashed....i get the impression its a windows issue,im running this same adapter on my mini dell desktop with w10 with no issues, considering it only seems to happen with a fresh install...weird
i saw some videos that say to run in safe mode then uncheck( elanservices)on msconfig but my pc does not have this elanservices ...

it could be 20H2, it may have different drivers in it to the older builds. It might not be Wi-Fi, I just see a lot of them causing problems so that can make you think every problem is WIFI … its a trap I was in last year blaming another driver every time I saw it.

can you keep giving us new dumps if he gets them as they may reveal cause.

5 more divide by zero. Never see it before, get 10 on same PC.

try running this (foolish to not check ram just in case)
Try running memtest86 on each of your ram sticks, one stick at a time, up to 4 passes. Only error count you want is 0, any higher could be cause of the BSOD. Remove/replace ram sticks with errors. Memtest is created as a bootable USB so that you don’t need windows to run it

might run this too - https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/19792/Intel-Processor-Diagnostic-Tool

wonder if its the lack of intel management engine interface causing it. I doubt there is a version for win 10 and your motherboard.

all 5 have these lines in Stack text (actions carried out just before the errors)
ffff898bf2a3e860 fffff8030c869336 : ffffc100cb2752e8 ffff898bf2a3eaa9 fffff8030d21ede8 0000000000000000 : nt!KiDivideErrorFault+0x30a

intelppm is a driver windows uses to talk to the CPU. its not mentioned but ppm is. close enough.
All 5 appear to be caused by errors in CPU

last one occurred when the WIFI drivers weren't running so can't blame it.
What microphone is he using?
Jun 02 2015cmudaxp.sysC-Media Audio Interface driver

I am not saying its cause but running out of drivers to blame
Jun 02 2015cmudaxp.sysC-Media Audio Interface driver

Jul 23 2020amdxe.sysAMD Link Xinput Emulation driver
Feb 05 2021amdkmdag.sysAMD Graphics driver
Feb 08 2021amdfendr.sysAMD Crash Defender Service driver
thats all that was running last time, and since he only swapped to Ethernet because there was no WIFI attached, I can't blame them.

Sound card must have Microsoft drivers since I can't tell he had one.

not getting anywhere with the crash dumps. All I can tell is they all caused by same thing, but I don't know what yet.

I am assuming its a driver giving CPU instructions it cannot process, divide by 0 being one such.
what i would do is look at the posting instructions here and ask on Tenforums )not giving up, but its safest alternative - https://www.tenforums.com/bsod-crashes-debugging/ - they might figure out what I can't see. They might just say its the CPU, they seem to do that every time I seen someone over there

or

You can run this but follow the precautions as it can leave pc is a boot loop (its made by Microsoft, they shouldn't make tools and put them in windows that can break windows) - https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/driver-verifier-instructions.3686888/

I would ask on Tenforums before running driver verifer.

Maybe someone else will have a recommendation.

i just updated BIOS..what a disaster, the system froze while i was installing it,stayed like that for quite a while,so i held down the power button to switch off, turned on again then it started an instant flash thing, then gives me the blue screen and says INACCESSABLE BOOT DEVICE and will not boot to windows now....OMG what have i done

That's the one thing you do not want to do when updating a BIOS, is to cut the system off.

However, it's still trying to boot? If so, that's a good sign. Meaning you might not have bricked your motherboard.

If you can get into BIOS, check to see what the boot order is and make sure your main drive is listed first.

the boot error likely happened because when you update bios it resets it to defaults, and the bios may have been looking in the wrong place for the boot drive.
It was stormy here all day or I would have said that before now.
