Hello, I have download and burned the knopix iso.
I"m using windows XP pro OS, and my question is : if i boot using knopix cd, will use knopix , than remove the knopix cd from my cdrom, will windows stay intact? will it work fine?

yes, Knoppix doesn't touch the existing OS. Other than a swap file it doesn't touch the hard drive unless you save application data.

ps. You may also want to try Gnoppix (Gnome desktop)

Well I ran it and it went smooth and looked really really cool I needed it for programming with c, I used to connect a unix server from window's telnet and edit my files with pico!@# that was insane well now its really kick ass

I downloaded it and burned it as a boot CD.
but the problem is it did NOT run after i boot by CD-rom
what can I do????

Well, what did it actually do? Any errors or anything? Did you burn it as a disk image rather than a filesystem? eg, when you put it in your PC and open the CD, does it show a bunch of files, or does it show 1 file named <whatever>.iso?
