[SOLVED] Know of a motherboard for our cpu cooler?

My friend bought all his parts for a pc but we couldnt finish the build because of incompatibilities... ASUS motherboard (X570-P) & Corsair liquid cooler (H100i Platinum SE).

We couldn't fit the backplate of the liquid cooler onto the bottom of the motherboard. He wants to have the motherboard replaced while keeping the liquid cooler.

I don't know where to look or how to find some that could fit. If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it.

ask Corsair for an AM4 bracket when your H100i is too old to support it natively.

although it should support AM4 according to the Corsair homepage. Might need to use another bracket or the default bracket of the mainboard

Guess you try to install the intel backplate .....

Read the manual for a cooler before trying stuff,

clearly says to use the plastic retainers on the motherboard so no backplate install necessary.
