[SOLVED] Kraken Z73 Issue Need help

Hey everyone,

I have a Kraken Z73 that the cap/circle (display) is not showing anything despite the fans are working, and when plugging in the display usb cord it did show a "smile." Then afterwards it goes back to being black and doesn't display anything on it. Anyone got an idea of what may be the cause or issue?

Yes, the NZXT Cam

if CAM is not detecting the cooler or it's fans or giving any option to manually configure them there's 3 possibilities;
the hardware is not installed/connected properly,
the hardware itself is defective and needs to be returned,
or the software is corrupted and needs to be reinstalled.

The fans are working, its just the circle/cap/LCD screen is not turning on. Would your 3 possibilities apply?

fans just running/working
and fans being detected and controllable by the CAM software are two different things.

the circle/cap/LCD screen is not turning on.

if the software is not giving any option to manually configure the device(s) then there is either a hardware or software issue.
