I've got a KT400 with a Athlon 2500 Barton core 2 sticks 512 mem. and
2 WD 80gb hardrives setup as M/S. My bios version is K7VX4-2AA6 I've
been trying to setup a 160gb HD using the raid socket as IDE3.problem
is everytime I do I get to right before the welcome screen on XP then
it locks up. If I boot in safe mode it reads the extra drive and I can
access but not under normal boot up. Do I have the wrong BIOS or is
there a certain order that the drives have to be installed?

Any help would be deeply appreciated

You need: Bios version 7
The latest highpoint driver
SP1
The first two are from Soyo and the last is from Microsoft.

And Woodbutcher needs to install the Highpoint RAID drivers the way XP
can use 'em.
