Son is trying to put together an MSI KT6Delta mobo with an Athlon
3200+. Both AMD and MSI say it should work but it won't stay stable.
Sometimes it'll stay up for 10 minutes other times it just reboots.
Latest BIOS flashed. Any clues please? memory is 400MHz Infineon
single 512 stick.

TIA

cheers,
Len

I'm no expert, but I had problems and changing the memory speed settings
resolved it. I think it goes fast - turbo - ultra. I was on Ultra, since
I've been on fast I've had zero problems. Maybe this is dog slow? As I
said, I'm no expert. Give it a go. If you get more details on the merits
of the mentioned settings, post back...

HI,

Have you tryed the RAM settings in the BIOS ?

Try CAS 3, 3 ,8,3
Its probably set at 2.5 or auto ,try manual.
And you raise voltage to 2.7 or even 2.8 .

good luck ,jeff
