KT7-Raid, Disk I/O Error?!

Can anyone shine a light on this! "Disk I/O Error 00008001" I see this flash on the screen for a half second right after the motherboard recognizes my two IBM 45gb drives on the RAID controller setup in a mirror status. Also on a fresh install of Win2k it reports this error on the screen after it loads all of the drivers from CD to install Win2k. It almost seems like Win2k is not going to install after it reports this error, but it does so with no problems, nor do I have any problems accessing the IBM 45gb drives in the mirror. I would just like to know what this error is and how to fix it?

Never had that problem.

I just found out my udma 4 maxxtor 30Gb runs about as fast as a cdrom on the KT7 Raid.

I tried out an IBM udma 5 45Gb and it just screams on the KT7-Raid.
