so, basically, i got a 1 TB HD, and to replace a smaller one I have a secondary HD SSD, via SATA, it shows up in the device manager, it shows up in my Asus B450 plus motherboard TUF Bios, but I can't seem to get it to initialize and format, / show up in Windows 11 or MY Computer, I can't get PC to do anything with it,

I have checked, a few posts out, but nothing was specifically helpful to this situation I have. following are the screenshots of what I see, in Device Manager, I screenshot all the tabs in properties as well, as all events, I just want to have it useable, I believe it is in "RAW" format or w/e, as a normy Pc builder i don't know the extent of a lot unless i follow guides. i am not new to TOMS, i had to make a new account, my old one isn't showing up in my email when I reset PW so I'm just putting out there, that I have been here before.images of what i am seeing

Hmm. Is Fikwot a "well known" supplier of quality SSDs, like Sandisk, Samsung, Crucial? Perhaps not?

Maybe the drive is faulty?

There's no Disk Management screen shot in your slides showing the status of the 1TB FX815.

If you left click on the pane at the far left side of the drive's entry in Disk Management, you might be able to convert it from RAW to GPT or MBR.

Did you get a popup window the first time you booted into Windows after connecting the drive, offering to initialize the disk?

Thanks. I just did a Disk Management search and found it, and did what you said: right-clicked, started, simple process or something, it let me name the drive, quick format, choose between rooting it into an existing drive or, as I did, assigning a letter to it and choosing all the space while using the NTFS format. It worked on the first try, opening the drive, just like plugging in a USB drive, when it auto-opens the folder/drive.
