KVM switch problem

Using a Rextron dunv-108qd, i get a black screen when trying to connect through the kvm, but have no problem when connecting directly.
all cables, kvm and video card is DVI.

when i switch the ports on the kvm to the port with the matrix pc using a intel hd 4000, i get a brief view of the desktop and then it goes back to black. but when i switch to another desktop pc it shows the display with no problems.
what is the issue?

Did you try other ports, cables?

Intel graphics driver up to date? Bios of the mainboard of the problematic PC up to date?

Did you try another monitor?

except for other port i have tried and checked all of those. the pc and the monitor connect with no problems as long as they arent going through the kvm

either the kvm is faulty or incompatible. Report the issue to rextron, maybe they can help with a firmware update or replacement.
