LACK OF mbps

HI,WENT FROM A GIGABYTE SNIPER MICRO ATX MOBO TO A HERO 7 AND MY DOWNLOAD SPEED HAS GONE FROM 1.3MBPS TO 650KBS sorry caps crappy kb] the only difference i can think is the sniper had a killer 2400 netwok device built in and the hero has this 1st time gamer ROG thing that seems to do nothing at all.I am thinking of buying a wired internal networking card [by same make killer] to see if this and the drivers will make a difference..the setup is exactly the same as before just different mobo.

That speed is too low for it to be a hardware bottleneck. Are you sure the system's causing it?

When you replaced the motherbd, did you uninstall the drivers and load the ones for this motherbd? They do have different chipsets, sata, audio, lan ....

yes i did.i have included a cpuz and that lists everything i have inc my nice OC og 5GHz

everything goes with everything.if you click on the cpuz link you will see what i have .4790k DC on a hero 7 mobo etc.its the exact same setup as it was with the gigabyte mobo.

yes i did,i took all the usual precaustions.i have been doing online speed tests and i think i should get in touch with my supplier.terrible

i agree its not my end.im ringing plusnet tommrow because my wired internet accsess just stopped 3 times in one night,thats not normal i had to reset it so maybye its a temp problem.

OK its my provider.doing a test on my post code i am getting [wait for it] 0.4 mb per sec but plusnet brag i should have 3.3 mbpsec [even so thats poor as virgin are doing 6.0 MB flat.same as bt.
