PC Freeze/FPS drop
Hello everyone. Before I start - here are my specs.
AMD Ryzen 5 7600
MSI ventus rtx 4060
Noctua air cooler
Corsair vengeance 32gb ddr5-6000 cl36
Msi b650 gaming plus wifi am5 motherboard
Samsung 870 1tb ssd
I’ve been playing rainbow 6 for the past 2 weeks and before the update 2 days ago, I’d be getting around 200fps during games and 100 in the lobby. No lagging or freezing.
However, after the update, I’d boot up R6 and I would freeze 20 mins in and if I wasn’t frozen, I’d be getting 100fps during games and around 60-80 in lobby. Now everytime I start R6 up, my fans would go crazy loud and I’d get a notification from Norton that my CPU would be overused which is weird cuz I have everything to use my GPU.
I’ve updated my GPU to the latest driver with no improvements and I’ve tried going back to the old driver using DDU however still not improvement.
Any thoughts or help? I’m so desperate that I might just do a factory reset on my PC just o start from scratch.
