Lag After Gameplay Recording

So I've heard of lag DURING gameplay recording but this is entirely a new thing to me. I use Afterburner and while I'm recording, there's no lags but when I play the video later on, it runs at like 12fps? the heck

The video is laging? that means it didn't record well.
Your recording settings are off, or your computer isn't powerful enough to record gameplay.
That's why something like OBS that let's you preview your recording while it's happening is handy.

It never used to happen before, so it can't be my PC. About OBS, I really wish they supported switchable graphics.
