Question Lag spikes on new pc

Anything I do (watch videos, play games, even just typing) I have huge lag spikes. My pc is new (bought it last xmas) never had any issue with it until recently.


CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz

Motherboard: msi h61m-p31/w8

Ram: kingston ddr3 8gb ram

SSD/HDD: 100 GB SSD 1 TB HDD

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti

OS: Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19043

We're going to need a little more information. When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list them like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:

Since you're on Windows 10, mention the version(not edition) of the OS. Age of the PSU apart from it's make and model?

My pc is new (bought it last xmas) never had any issue with it until recently.
I'm assuming this is a used system from a seller making it new for you(...?)
