I am currently using a wireless usb adapter (Buffalo N450 Wireless-N USB Adapter)
When I try to play games online, such as League of Legends, I come across huge lag spikes. Every 5-10 seconds my ping goes from the average 60-90 ping to over 600. When it spikes it goes back down right away, but it causes me to freeze for a few seconds, but not disconnect. Making most games unplayable. I know it's not the connection from the router to the adapter. I use a laptop right next to my computer sometimes and it doesn't have this issue. I think it has something to do with windows 7 and adapter, but I don't have the knowledge to know what to do. I have searched around the web for others with the same issue with no luck. I can download something and browse the internet just fine, the issue only seems to happen while gaming.
