Lagging on GTA V

I bought this around a year ago. I ever since I played GTA V then. It's been laggy. I know GTA V is a very demanding game, but I recently heard this can be a monitor issue since my monitor is only 60hz. do y'all have any reccomendations on how to fix this?

You shouldn't have any issues running GTAV.

Sorry for replying late, but that video kind of helped me out. everything is smooth. But I'm still getting some minor lag there and there. I feel like it's my monitor. Should I get a gaming monitor so that my frames can match the hertz?
