So I was playing csgo online and suddenly my computer restarts for updates and caused me to have "limited access" to the internet(wireless). I plugged in my Ethernet cable and it didn't seem to work. Could it be the card is failing? This happened before and I reinstalled the OS and worked fine afterwords.

I ran malwarebytes didn't find anything. System restore point. Uninstalled both cards and restarted.

Any help on whats going on...

Windows 7. Oh and I can't connect to neighbours wireless either on the effected pc. Wireless is working around the house. Could the cards just be dying?

More than likely the OS has made a change to your drivers. I would find and install the latest compatible driver as listed at your PC manufacturer, motherboard OEM or network hardware devices website for your windows version.

Is this an add in card or is your network adapter part of your device or motherboard?

Knowing your device model number would helpful in finding the correct drivers. Since the problem began immediately after Windows performed updates, it's very unlikely to be a failing hardware component and very LIKELY to be driver related. What is the model number of your prebuilt system, laptop, motherboard or network card?
