LAN light blinking but can not see the icon

I have a laptop with the LAN light blinking but not working and can't see the icon in the explorer

Check the device manager for your network adapter. If it's not there or you see a yellow exclamation point or it shows under "other devices" then you need to install the driver for the network adapter.
