Hi there!
We frequently have LAN Parties, but (even with enjoying the afternoon) we still face technical problems with the weaker laptops. As a result, I wondered if we can create a thin client on one single PC?
We are about 7 members and only 3 will be running on a single PC. The rest must connect through wired LAN and a Hub.

The games we play aren't high end games (therefore easing the GPU/CPU). Here are the games we play:
  • Counter Strike: Source
  • Far Cry 2
  • Wolfenstein ET
  • Assault Cube
  • FlatOut 2
The PC I want to setup for the LAN has the following specs:
Ryzen 3 2200g (Overclocked: 4.0GHz)
Asus Strix RX 580 8GB
16Gb RAM
250Gb SSD
Asus VI Crosshair Extreame
750w PowerSupply

I have the following programs installed: ThinSoft (http://www.thinsoftinc.com/product_pc_sharing_betwin_vs64.aspx )

The layout should look like this: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1_R25EA2PO7ldXE-Q37xkiGpXFnJnaebK

What would be the possible best setup for this?

So you have the computer and the program correct? Try it and see how it runs.

The virtual systems are usually used for basic tasks not running several instances of games on the same hardware.
I tried it and it worked seamlessly. I used ibik ASTER as the VM-software and within a restart we were able to run Counter Strike Source on 2 screens (for a start) with 270 fps each! The games we play aren't that high-end, so I guess everything will work as we'd like to...

Nice, glad it worked. Usually when you actually have the equipment to work on it's as easy to just try it than ask about it LOL
