As the title says, is 16GB(2x8DDR5 5600mhz) enough for gaming whilst using an external monitor(1440p) for watching streams, YouTube and use discord.

Found a Lenovo Legion pro 7 laptop with i9, 16gb ram and 4080 for a good price.
If I go for a 32gb instead the price will increase by 900euros, which is insane -imo.
A cheaper alternative would be buying the 16gb laptop and change the ram myself. But I don’t know if it will void the warranty.
Desktop is not an option for me.
