[SOLVED] laptop and 2nd monitor does not connect

Friends, my problem is this. I bought a HDMI to VGA cable to connect the second monitor to my laptop. I thought it would be a problem in hdmi to vga or intermediate cables and when I connected to another laptop with the same cables, I saw that the connection was established. While I was thinking that the problem is with the hdmi input of my computer, I did one last test and tested my hdmi input on the TV, it worked without any problems. I think the problem may be software. I am waiting for your solution suggestions

It's not software, if the laptop HDMI port works, it works.

Just a simple HDMI to VGA cable would not work for most things, what product exactly did you buy? You would need to have an active adapter.
