Laptop Asus speakers

Need to replace both speakers in Asus laptop. Is a retrofit using any old small speakers that can be butchered to fit ok. Do the speaker modules include anything special. It's just a driver , plus and minus wires, right.

I'm going to try and glue the outer circumference up on speakers. I've seen the shoe glue video but will try silicone glue.
