My brand-new Gigabyte G5 MF 2023 laptop shuts down immediately when I unplug the charger. This first happened a month ago, and I got it fixed under warranty. However, the issue happened again yesterday. It wont charge above 43% and crash after i unplug battery (i wil send the laptop to gigabyte for warranty soon can i do any thing to prevent this issue from happening in the future? I was just playing some light game with out the charger on and then it black screened me 💀)

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

If the laptop's brand new why would they have needed to repair it? You're entitled to a brand new laptop, since that's what you paid for.

Can you check and see if your laptop's pending any BIOS updates? If you're on Windows OS, locate this entry on Device Manager, Batteries>Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery, then uninstall the device.

Besides sending the laptop in for repair, what else have you done? Reinstalled the OS? Manually installed all drivers for your laptop in an elevated command?

If I were you, I'd recreate the bootable USB installer using Windows Media Creation Tools, then install the OS in offline mode, manually install all relevant drivers(with the latest versions) in said offline mode(while disconnected from the www) and then see if the issue persists.
