Question Laptop blowing funny smell (Hp-elitebook) 8460p

Okay, so I have an hp-elitebook 8460p
(i5-2540M).. and there was a smell coming from the air-vent where the fan blows and it was overheating more than usual, so I decided to open it and clean the dust out and the smell is still there after cleaning the dust out but it doesn’t overheat anymore. What could it be??

thats normal its heat smell my pc have this smell too
