Laptop Buyback/Exchange Program?

Hey all,

I was wondering if any of you know of / have experience with a buyback program for gaming laptops? I figured that since we have those programs all over the place for cellphones and gaming consoles, we might have them for portable gaming as well?

There is a huge difference between computers / laptops and smartphones.

Smartphones requires a monthly fee to be usable; whether that is a contract or month to month payment. Carriers lose money selling phones and makes money on the contract or monthly payment. Maybe carriers breakeven on selling used smartphones, but business cannot stay in business simply by attempting to sell a used smartphone for the same price at which they bought it if there were no monthly fees involved to use the phone and penalties for breaking contracts.
