Laptop connecting to wrong wired network

Hi, I live in student accommodation and here we have wired Internet.
For some reason my laptop has changed the wired network it connects too.
The network it should connect too is network 2, but now it just connects to network 10.
On network 10 I only get limited connection, but network 2 gets full Internet.
I was hoping someone could share some insight into how I can fix this?

Wired network connections can only connect to the network they are physically wired through unless there is a gateway protocol that requires a password in order to determine routing. If that's the case then the network 10 is probably an open local network and network 2 probably requires credentials. Run the network troubleshooter to configure the internet connectivity. If you don't have login credentials for network 2, there's nothing we can do to help.

If it's an open connection, then there is a routing issue either due to being plugged into the wrong Ethernet port on the network hardware or something is wrong on the router. This seems like an issue that the network administrator should be able to correct for you so I'd advise you to seek their assistance with the issue. If you cannot do that, then you probably don't belong on the network in the first place.
