When I load up a game, I can get into the game for a small amount of time, then my screen cuts to black and then shuts off. I have tested several games, and had different results. Rainbow Six: Siege, League of Legends, Dragon Ball Fighterz, and Fallout: New Vegas can all open, but within a couple minutes, the computer crashes. I have been able to play FTL without any crashing whatsoever.

I used to be able to fix this issue by updating Windows, however this has stopped helping. I used to be able to run all of these games fairly well, with some on lower graphics quality, namely Siege and Fighterz. I dont know what has changed, but I would like to get this problem resolved soon.

Specs:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6500 U CPU @ 2.50 GHz 2601 MHz 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Home 10.0.17134 Build 17134
Memory: 16384MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 12
Video Card: Intel(R) HD Graphics 520 (Integrated)
AMD Radeon R5 M335 (Dedicated)

Maybe the Games are running from the integrated graphics which affects the performance of the CPU, does your Laptop overheat before shut down? or it could be the other way around, maybe your dedicated GPU is faulty thus the cause for shut down. Also can you post the CPU and GPU stats right before the shut down?

I have seen that the GPU does crash, maxing out at 100 before the crash. Unfortunately , I cant get the exact numbers on anything because it crashes before i can check it. CPU usually is fine before the crash. It does not feel like it is overheating.
Do you know how I can check and see if the games are running on the integrated graphics , and if so switch it so it's on the dedicated graphics card?

You can change the default GPU form Catalyst Control Panel, if you don't have it the you must download and install. You can also track the CPU, GPU and Other stats in-game without having to minimise or quit using AfterBurner.

I'm having a hard time finding the download link for the Catalyst Control Center. I downloaded the newest software for my graphics card from the AMD site but i still don't see it.

Ok, i have it downloaded, but all I can do in it is add and manage presets. There are no game settings to be found. If this stuff can be done from the AMD Radeon Settings, I have that as well.

In Catalyst Control Centre there should be 2 options under Power "Switchable Graphics Global" and "Switchable Graphics Application". Go the Switchable Graphics Application Settings and Add the game or program to the list. That should change the default GPU for the particular program.

In the Radeon Setting, I found the Switchable Graphics settings. Unfortunately, the closest thing I found to any of my games were the launchers for League and New Vegas, and the .exe file for Cuphead. I can't find any of my other games in the switchable graphics settings
