Laptop Crashing Randomly

So I have a lenovo Y50-70 that has a GTX 960m. It is 2 weeks old that came with windows 10 out of box. Here are my issues:

1: fans spin constantly even though not hot.
2: During gaming sessions I will be playing and my character will just keep walking in one direction and then my computer will completely shut off.

So I have updated all drivers fully and all windows updates.
I believe it is the GPU causing issues. Here is a link to a post of someone who had the same issue as me except I can't fix my issue. My temps never go over 60 degrees celsius so it is not overheating for sure BUT it is acting like it. Please any help would be fantastic except for the reply, "send that shit back because it be broken"

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help in solving that issue.
- Start by running Windows Update and install all updates available.
- Next is to install the latest BIOS update.
Windows 10 64bit: https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles/9ecn43ww.exe
- Once installed continue with doing a clean install of the graphics card driver.

- Reboot your PC once the latest driver has been installed then test it again.
- Make sure also that NVIDIA is set as the default graphics card with games.

Ok I already have the latest BIOS installed. I will do a gpu driver reinstall. Is it best to use the driver from Lenovo site rather than the latest driver from NVidia? I am currently uninstalling and reinstalling the driver. It is random when the crash happens so I will reply here when I get another crash so keep your eyes on lookout.

I did your tips. I also removed the battery, removed the HDD, and usb booted ubuntu and I still have the crash. SO It HAS to be the GPU right? Help.
