Hi. I have a HP G series laptop that I bought two years ago. Since yesterday, the display of the laptop has turned white. Whenever I try to boot it, it turns white after few seconds. I googled about the issue, and then tried connecting it to a external display, which works fine. So the problem is supposed to be with the ribbon cable. But the technician I consulted insists that something's wrong with the motherboard, that is either it is short circuited or display adapter is not working. But I'm not satisfied with his opinion.
Can anyone please suggest any solution for this?
