I am purchasing a Dell D3100 docking station to connect my work laptop with my HP 25" monitor that is connected to my PC and have a question about the wireless mouse (Microsoft) and keyboard (Logitech) that are connected to the PC.

Is there any way I can use these peripherals when the laptop is docked and using the HP monitor for display? I really don't want to buy another keyboard and mouse if I don't have to.

Thanks in advance.

But I don't want to keep unplugging/plugging those wireless device receivers from my PC to/from the docking station every day.

You have a single dongle going to the two peripherals, without that dongle attached to the thing you are using there is no way for it to work. And KVM switches tend to have issue with those wireless dongles for mice/keyboards.

If you are interested, Logitech has a Craft wireless keyboard and a mouse that goes with the system that will connect to three different devices via Bluetooth. I have one on my work PC that connects via the dongle. I also use it with my phone and my laptop. There are three numbered keys that you program to the device. Very simple and elegant solution assuming you wish to spend that much on a very different type of keyboard.
