Laptop extremely slow all of a sudden (Constantly 100% Load)

I have a Sony Vail an it suddenly just dropped in performance. I'm not sure if it's because of the 100% CUP Load. Games like CSGO and Gmod cant even get past 20 fps and even the internet connection is slower.

Please help

I would suspect a bit mining bot has been installed in your laptop, have you installed any programs lately? You can try the steps found here http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/8263-63-simple-free-guide-removing-malware but even that may not find it (or it may believe it is legitimate). Let us know how you fare after trying those steps.

You may be able to find it and uninstall it in the Control Panel>>Programs and Features by checking the "installed on" date - look for something that corresponds to the time frame that the laptop started acting up.

I actually looked at that and did it a while ago but not sure if I uninstalled the right thing. I'll look again. If I can't find the solution I can just do a factory reset

Did you turn it to power saver or green mode?
