I wonder what the terminal velocity of these things are.

That looks pretty beat up, If it fell on grass then I couldnt imagine jumping up and throwing it down as hard as i could to make it look like that.

I can just imagine the medic, sitting next to the laptop, they make a turn, it starts to slip on the seat, he rushes to grab it, OH OH OH OH!!!!!!!

"OMFG! Guys the laptop just dropped out."

An extremely tenuous tech story, fellas...

Grayson then called out to his aunt Laura Colon. "'What's that?'
"My Intestine" she replied, weakly.
"Call the hospital."

[citation][nom]haunted one[/nom]"Thankfully, nobody was hurt and the only reason why the hospital was called in was to retrieve the computer."The hospital was called to retrieve the laptop? 😵[/citation]
One word: HIPAA
Ok, so it's an acronym. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act provides stiff penalties to organizations that don't take adequate steps to protect PHI (Protected Health Information). So, yeah, even if the laptop were obliterated, they would still send someone to retrieve it if possible.

@bogcotton
The terminal velocity of something with the general shape and weight of a laptop would be on the order of 100 - 120 MPG (160 - 193 KPH). Suffice it to say, that is plenty lethal.

I wonder why scapped computers aren't used as bombs...seriously...shrapnel, battery acid, and they never go away!

[citation][nom]xaios[/nom]You know how gaming PC manufacturers often claim that their computers run at "breakneck speeds?"Yeah...I'd say this sucker is probably the fastest PC ever made![/citation]

I'll try to avoid mentioning sattelites.

Damnit!

Oh the Irony in the story. Life Link, almost takes boys life... and the helicopter was called in to pick up the laptop. Karma is a bitch!
