Laptop fan

Laptop is trying to power up i get the power button light fan spins for a second then dies immediately.

When my fan died my laptop basically said like "warning don't turn it on or further damage can happen" something like that I saw the message like last year so don't remember exactly but it had to do with the fan as someone I know who is studying computers in college said it's either a broken fan or very dirty fan

Open your web browser, type in the model number/name of the fan and buy a replacement.

Post not exactly clear, so fans stops spinning, so system still boots up? getting a Windows Logo?

If system can't boot up for whatever reason, it could had simply shut down, and off the fan with it. So the question is, the chicken or the egg. I suspect more power related. U gotta give us more info/history than that scant post. Doctors are no magicians without patient disclosing what's wrong. Electronics typically don't all of a sudden die, something happened to it.
