Question Laptop fell off side of bed, will only turn on when plugged in - Asus TUF A16

So to start I bought the laptop in May of 2023, I never really used it much that year until 2024 mostly used for watching movies and a few games here and there but nothing too taxing. The first thing I noticed is I had some major battery issues being from a full charge I couldn't even finish a single 1.5hr movie without having to plug it in, being that I only used the laptop when I was away for work having it plugged in never really bothered me much. Fast forward to this year I get a bit more downtime with my job and have been using it more.

About a month ago or so now one night I had it on my bed plugged in watching a show, it ended up falling off the bed and landing on the side where the charger was plugged into it.

After this incident the laptop will no longer power on without being plugged in and will not hold a charge. I took the back panel off to look for any cracks in the motherboard where the power adapter plugs in, and everything looks fine to me (an untrained eye on laptops, lots of experience with computers though). So I was hoping for the best and ordered a new battery and have just replaced it, but unfortunately to no avail this has not solved my issue.

I'm away for work currently and am hoping to find some help or solutions for this, I checked my warranty when this happened and I think it said I was like 3/4 months passed warranty. If not I am probably going to take it to a laptop repair place when my days off come.

everything looks fine to me (an untrained eye on laptops, lots of experience with computers though).
This is where you include images of what you're seeing. Host said images on a site like Imgur and then pass on a link for us to see.

You might want to zoom in on the area where the laptop was hit as well as the area of power input. It's possible that a power delivery component near the battery location was knocked out.

My first thought. There should be around 12 screws based on the pics. 4 along the top, bottom and middle.
Inside your Laptop model . I'm on mobile and can't edit ATM to circle but it's the red, white, green, brown, black colored cable and connector above the battery. A good time to make sure your battery isn't swelling too.

I've taken the battery out and tried replacing it with a new one, unless there is something more I need to do besides take out the 3 screws and cable connecting it for the battery I'm thinking its properly attached

Sorry about that fellas, I've updated the original post with some included photos. Sorry for the wait been busy with work, and if there is any other angles you'd like to see let me know and I will get to that as fast as I possibly can.
