It hasn't been cleaned in over 10 years so I decided to disassemble and clean it. And now when it hits 65C it freeze with visual artifact and sound loop. One thing I noticed is the fan doesn't speed up when needed so it might be the problem but I have no idea what I can do now.

Your heatsink may not be fully tightened. Also, the fan itself may no longer be working optimally. I would also double check all connections to ensure proper attachment.

I would think the service manual would help identify the parts needed to replace the fan.

I thought the same and checked the connections twice and thightened the heatsink but it wasn't the problem. I will have a look at the manual, thank you.

Given the age of the system, you could also be suffering a component breakdown on the motherboard itself that is contributing to the problem. 65C is not that hot (relatively) for laptops, especially when under load.
