Laptop freezing / Poor Perfomance

My Laptop Dell XPS L502X Hangs Up and takes more time even working with excel/word
Please guide me to get rid of the issue
Core i5 CPU
Ram 2X4GB = 8GB
HDD 620 GB ( 475 GB Free Space)
NVIDIA 525 Graphics Card
Windows 10(Upgraded from Dell OEM Windows 7 Ultimate)
NIL Changes made for Hardware

I would do a clean install of 10. It gets rid of the junk

You need to scan your system for viruses and malicious programs. If your problem still persist, i recommended you do a clean install Windows 10
